This weekend Next Level traveled down to New York to DJ Vinny & Shannon's wedding. We were nervous to see if the New York/New Jersey crowd would welcome us and party despite the fact that we are from Boston. Well, after some joking and Red Sox put downs, they partied like rockstars! The bride and groom wanted an upbeat and energized wedding for the 200 + guest list. NLE delivered and took over NYC in a major way! We brought full intelligent dance lighting, and the venue provided the uplighting. By the end of the night we were handing out business cards to wedding guests getting married in the near future, the wait staff, the cooks, the bartenders, and the venue coordinator. What an insane wedding!
From the moment we met Derek & Ashley it was clear that they didn't want an ordinary wedding celebration! Their vision was to have a "Club Wedding" complete with full club style lighting and a custom pink monogram display. Next Level brought to life their wedding vision perfectly! If someone walked into that ballroom, they wouldn't be able to tell if the event was a wedding or a Vegas night club!!! It feels so good to know that we delivered exactly what the bride and groom wanted on their special night! On Friday night Chris & Lisa traveled up to Atkinson Country Club to DJ the McGilloway wedding celebration. The ceremony was scheduled to be outside of the ballroom overlooking rolling hills and fairways. Unfortunately, the thunder and rain soaked the grounds 30 minutes prior to the start time. As quickly as the rain came, it was gone, and we rushed out all of our audio equipment for the pending ceremony! Despite the weather, the wedding went fantastic. Guests young and old partied like rockstars! No one wanted the night to end! Unbelievable job! posted 8/17/2011 Chris and Antonio from NLE were UNBELIEVABLE! To say that they made the wedding a blast for everyone is an understatement. These guys made the party. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the dinner and dancing, these guys did a phenomenal job. Every guest at the wedding was wondering where we had found them and raving about how awesome they were. We really only gave them about 5 songs to work with when we met with them before the wedding, but based on those few songs, they completely nailed our personality and picked perfect music that had everybody on the dance floor throughout the entire evening. Before dinner was even over, the open space on the dance floor was quickly diminishing. My mother and father, (who are not a huge dancers at all), didn’t leave the floor all night. Also, Antonio was able to find a really obscure song for us that we had forgotten to send over to him only a few minutes before the introductions. The fact that he could find the song in such short notice, play it for us, and couple it with the most perfect song directly after speaks to their willingness to go above and beyond to please their clients. These guys really do a great job at what they do and you can really see that they love doing it. They have fantastic personalities and are extremely helpful from the moment you meet them for the first time, until after your event is over. Everyone is still talking about how amazing they were and how much fun they had. I would say without a doubt that these guys made my wedding. I am so happy that I chose them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an extremely professional and experienced DJ that will leave all their guests wishing the night never had to end. Our guests were out of the seats dancing from the minute cocktail hour ended to the second the last song of the night had finished. They truly had a gift for feeling out the crown and selecting songs that best suited the energy of our guests. Several friends and family members approached me at our after-party to acquire contact information for Next Level Entertainment. Beyond their ability to play outstanding music and get the party started, I found them to be incredibly professional, accomodating and devoted to their work. I knew I was in good hands from the moment I contacted Chris. He met me and my husband for several hours one night to talk about the layout of the night and songs that were on our play list. He was patient, flexible and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. I don't know anyone else that could pump up the crowd enough to get my father to breakdance and do a headstand. Absolutely incredible! Thank you Next Level ... I wish I could do the dy all over again because of YOU! Next Level had a killer 3 wedding weekend! On Friday night we were at the Sapphire Estates in Sharon MA. The room was beautifully lit with uplights in a warm candlelight color. The bride and groom requested mostly top 40 and hip hop songs which Next Level delivered in Vegas club fashion! On Saturday night we went into Boston at the Renaissance Boston waterfront hotel in the newly developed Seaport District. This wedding was 5 star all the way. From introductions to the last dance, guests partied to a huge variety of music. From "It's Raining Men" (requested by the Mother of the Bride) to "Shook me all night long", there was something for everybody! Then on Sunday night we rocked the Cruiseport in Gloucester. We were a bit nervous because this wedding was scheduled to end at 11pm on a Sunday night, which is quite late for a work night. To be honest with you, we could have played till 1 am and the crowd would have stayed and partied all night long! You have to love guests that take Monday off from work so they can take full advantage of an open bar wedding on a Sunday night.  Sean & Melissa celebrated their wedding reception in a old church turned ballroom in Princeton MA. The room was absolutely gorgeous, especially with their custom designed monogram shining brightly above the fireplace! But what happens when the food service is taking longer than expected?.....NO WORRIES! Next Level has it covered! Guests poured onto the dancefloor in between courses and worked up a hardy appetite. Next Level has the unmatched ability to gauge all aspects of your wedding and work around any unexpected situations! Thank you to Sean & Melissa for allowing Next Level to perform at their wedding celebration! Hi Chris, We received the DVD. It is decorated so beautifully. We loved the video! We just watched it yesterday (for our one month anniversary) Lisa did a great job. Her services are going to be a great addition to your wedding package!! She adds the little extras too that make us feel special and know that she cared. We were originally were not going to have video as you know, and I am so happy that Lisa was able to do this for us. It is going to such a nice keepsake, and it will be nice to play for those who weren't able to make the trip. I am so grateful that she filmed our wedding for us. Thank you so much!!!
